Cool New Find

Social media is continuing to grow at an explosive rate. As I'm sure so many of you can relate, I find that updating blogs (work and personal), facebook, twitter, linked in... etc. is almost a full time job. But none-the-less it's one of those things that you "just gotta do."

A fab little marketeer turned me on to a new one today, so add one more to the list. If you're a mom-preneur or just lookin' for a networking site that's not "just mommy" or "just work"- you should check this out, http://www.twittermoms.com/. It's a social forum for twittering moms (in case you aren't captain obvious). Don't let the name deceive you though - it's not just a form to discuss twittering, rather it's a forum for women who are linked by the fact that they tweet.

It has some great groups/discussions and was recently featured on TechCrunch.

The most amazing bit is, at the time of the article, the site had been up for just 15 days and it was already up to 5,000 daily users - super props to Megan, the twittermoms.com founder, who saw a need and went for it.

Back to basics... and aprons

So lately it's been all about My Dirty Birdie - but know that we're still going strong wiht our initial lines. As a matter of fact, we just got great news that we're going to be included in the Fall Buyer's Guide for Pregnancy Magazine (hits the stands 9/30/08). We were also so pleased to recently be featured on Real Simple Magazine's Blog - Simply Stated.

AND we have several new styles/designs that are going to be available in October - just in time for the holidays! We're making some fun additions to the Wee Pockets line, and I actually spent about 40 hours on a sewing machine over the last 2 weeks - and truthfully I hadn't even sat down at one since 7th grade Home Ec. But I am SO pleased with what we're about to introduce, so check back with us in a few weeks because I'll post some early pics and get the website updated.
